My boss makes face-to-face visits to hundreds of people in the US each year.  She has asked me to find a better way to schedule and map these visits based on confidential financial criteria and the geographic distance between the visits.  I was hoping someone could suggest a method/software to automatically decide who to visit based on this critieria.  Please help!  Thank you!

Sounds like you would need 2 different tools for this. When simply deciding the order in which to set meetings I found Google maps quite useful for distance, direction and travel time.

Deciding who to see in the first place sounds more like a database job.
